Sights

The CVA Scout V2 takes single-shot takedown break-action centerfire rifles to a new level with its sleek, lightweight, and easy-to-operate design, setting a new standard in affordable single-shot hunting muzzleloaders. Ideal for smaller stature hunters as a deer rifle or used by anyone as an easy truck gun or emergency survival rifle; additionally equipped with an authentic DuraSight scope rail mount so your optic can remain on target!

Many muzzleloader hunters prefer fiber optic sights over traditional iron sights due to their superior low-light performance. Fiber optic sights feature a thin rear light ring that obscures less of the target while allowing more light through for precise targeting and improved precision aiming. Though these sights do have some drawbacks, such as limited field of view and shorter sight radius, they still represent a significant advance over conventional iron sights.

Ghost Ring Sights offer a significant improvement in low-light performance when compared with aperture sights. Ghost ring sights also have the added advantage of being easier to use due to a narrower rear sight ring and don’t require you to line up their notches with the breech plug notch, although they may be less precise than standard peep sights.

Williams Fire Peep Sights have become one of the most favored muzzleloader sights due to their combination of peep sight and scope mounting base features. These sights have proven very popular among competitive shooters who value improved accuracy while maintaining open views when conditions call for it. There are versions designed specifically to fit both CVA muzzleloaders with round and octagon barrels as well as Thompson/Center models of muzzleloaders.
